Nelson Newsletter Award
The nomination process usually takes place during December with voting in early January. The award winners are announced at the Year-end banquet in February. Voters will cast votes for one nominee in each category; the exception is Volunteer of the Year, two are elected for this. In the case of a tie for any category, both are name co-runners.
The Nelson Newletter Award is named after Club co-founder and first newsletter editor, Larry Nelson. This award is selected by the newsletter editors for who they think should be recognized as a contributor to the newsletter the past year.
