About the race...
The accurate 5K (3.1 mile) course is a loop on paved roads around beautiful Dawson Lake at Moraine View State Park. The first mile is mostly downhill with an excellent view of the lake. The remainder of the course is rolling hills, with more challenging hills during the last half mile of the race.
