This year’s theme is ROCK RESPECT!
RACE: Accurately measured, chip-timed, flat 5K which begins and ends at Pontiac Township High School.
– 5K starts at 10:00am and 1 mile walk starts after the 5K runners take off (on the high school track).
– Water stop at mile 2.
AWARDS: 5K, overall male/female, male/female age groups.
REFRESHMENTS: Light refreshments provided.
REGISTRATION/ENTRY: 5K and Fun Run participants registering by 4/5/2019 will receive a dry-blend T-shirt. No guarantees for shirts after 4/5/2019.

This inter-city race starts on Wood Street near Miller Park in Bloomington, east on Wood Street, then north on Main Street, through downtown Bloomington, turns west on Gregory, then north on the Constitution Trail to The Corn Crib in Normal. View Park to Park Course Map.
The race originated in 1985 as the Intercity 10K. After two years the race was changed to a 5 mile run. For years, the 5 mile run was a little longer than 5 miles. In 1993, the Lake Run club began organizing the event and made the 5 mile course accurate.
Packet Pickup and In-Person Registration:
July 3rd: 4-7 pm at Often Running
July 4th: 6-7 am at Miller Park Pavilion
Shuttle service is available between the Corn Crib and Miller Park. Prior to the race, buses will leave the Corn Crib beginning at 5:45 and ending at 6:15. After the race concludes, buses will leave the Corn Crib up through the Awards Ceremony.
At 8 am on Saturday, August 24, 2019, CORE of McLean, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is holding our 6th annual 6.6k (4.1-mile) run/walk on Route 66 from Funks Grove to McLean to benefit the community of McLean, IL. All proceeds will go to local projects. Favorites such as the pre-race shot of pure maple sirup and commemorative shot glasses, awesome t-shirts, and post-race food, drinks, and entertainment on the McLean Village square will be back.
