The ninth annual Come Together will be held June 29, 2019. This community event focuses on the fight against ovarian, breast and cervical cancer. The logo is a symbol of efforts in educating all women about these diseases and brings them under one umbrella of education, awareness, screening, and treatment. 100% of the revenue raised will stay in the Decatur community. By participating in this event, you, along with our sponsors, are helping us raise funding for not-for-profit organizations and their gynecological cancer programs.
8:30 a.m. start run/walk (7:15 a..m. events/exhibits).
Enjoy a Hawaiian-themed run along the riverfront with a tiki torch finish line and Polynesian music in the background. This is the perfect event to celebrate LONG days and the arrival of summer. The course is a total of 2.2 miles – out and back along the riverfront on a gravel road. No hills, but the course is not smooth, so please be mindful of potholes. This is not a closed course so please stay to the side of the road.
All race finishers will receive a very special welcome as they cross the finish line. If you’re up for even more fun, wear your best island attire during the race!
Race party afterwards will be at Kuchie’s on the Water on the patio. Drinks are not included in the price of registration.
Proceeds from the Tiki Trail 2.2 will be dedicated to support the IVS Kids Series.
