Looking for a Few Good Photographers!
Did you get a digital camera for Christmas? Is your family tired of you snapping 20 pictures before they can dig into a meal? Do you never pass up an opportunity to ask somebody “how many pixels IS THAT?”
The LRC has a offer for you.
Would you (or a family member) like to be a LRC event photographer?
We’re looking for individuals who will take pictures at LRC events and send these pictures to me (details how to do this will follow when you sign up). I will in turn publish these pictures to the website on a somewhat timely basis.
Here’s what you need
if you’d like to participate:
1. A digital camera
2. Ability
and willingness to burn a CD-ROM (or deliver up your camera’s media card (SmartMedia,
3. Availability for one or more events
Here’s what you have
to do to sign up:
1. Send an email to me (bula.jim@verizon.net)
2. Tell me your email address.
3. What media you’ll use to get the photos to me(see above)
4. What event(s) you’d like to cover.
What will I do as the Website Photo Editor? I’ll publish the pictures, put your name on the website, and return your media to you. I’ll also publish the assigned photographers for each event on the website.
What’s in it for you? The satisfaction of documenting fellow runners triumphs and making the LRC Website an interesting place to visit plus you can put your friends’ pictures out there. If you convince a family member or friend to do this, it’s a great way to get them to races and give them something to do while waiting for you. Plus you just may get your picture on the website! Plus you’ll receive volunteer points.
When can you sign-up for an event? The sooner, the better in order to get your choice of events. However, if an event is “uncovered” – you can signup anytime by sending me an email.
