Ride the Wave is a 10-week training program, beginning in March, for established runners who are looking to improve their times or increase their distance. The Wednesday night “classes” focus on different workouts that help boost performance. Additionally, different aspects of running, such as structured running plans, stretching and nutrition are also addressed. The sessions will start with a description of the type of workout planned for the evening and how it can improve one’s performance; occasionally there will be a guest speaker.
Meet weekly with others who run a similar pace. The workouts vary to help you get stronger and prepare for the Lake Run in early May. This is a great program to help you keep running in order to:

You should be able to run 2.5-3 miles without stopping to start this program. If you are not quite there, consider the Catch the Wave program instead!
