About the race...
The Danvers Days race has been held in conjunction with Danvers Days celebration since 1983. The race originally was a 3 mile race but was changed to a 5K in 1984. In 1998, the course was moved to its current starting place at Danvers Elementary School.
The race features the BEST post-race, all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast in central Illinois!
