Women of all ages and abilities are invited to register for Heat Wave. Heat Wave is a 9-week, women-only training program that begins in June and will prepare you for the Evergreen Lake 5K in early August. This program includes training sessions, group runs with an experienced leader, a technical shirt for training, post-run water/Gatorade, and more.
Groups for this program will be as follows:
- Group 1 – Walkers
- Group 2 – New runners or 12:00+ min/mile runners
- Group 3 – 12:00 min/mile – 11:30 min/mile runners
- Group 4 – 11:00 min/mile – 10:00 min/mile runners
- Group 5 – 9:30 min/mile – 9:00 min/mile runners
- Group 6 – 8:30 min/mile or faster runners
